McLean Community Center
Jonathan has been working with youth and teens in the Out-of-School Time environment for nearly 20 years, starting his career as a Teen Center Director for Fairfax County’s Department of Neighborhood and Community Services. He then transitioned to a position as a Cross-System Prevention Coordination Specialist, where as the Fairfax County Out-of-School Time Network Coordinator he ensured collaboration across the multiple human service agencies, non-profits, and schools to ensure that there was alignment within the Out-of-School field. Adhering to the principle that all youth and teens can succeed, no exceptions, he has worked on various initiatives that seek to improve life outcomes for the youth and teens of Fairfax County. Currently, Jonathan serves as Deputy Director of the McLean Community Center, an agency within Fairfax County. Jonathan holds a history degree from Virginia Tech. In his spare time, Jonathan enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and cheering on his beloved Hokies.
