Education Specialist, Title IV, Part A and 21st CCLC

Michael provides support and technical assistance for Title IV, Part A, Student Support and Academic Enrichment grant and Title IV, Part B, 21st Century Community Learning Centers (CCLC) programs. In the 21st CCLC program, Michael coordinates the state evaluation process and provides programmatic guidance, fiscal oversight, and technical assistance to school divisions and community-based organizations. Prior to joining the Department in 2016, Michael served as a school division Title II and Title IV grants coordinator and an elementary school principal. He began his career as an elementary classroom teacher.
