Executive Director
Blaire Denson has over twenty years of experience in the OST field. She began as a Site Coordinator within her local school division, then on to Federal Programs Director, 21st Century Community Learning Center Program Monitor for the Virginia Department of Education, and Executive Director of VPOST since 2011. She is working to build the network’s sustainability and increase investments in Virginia to support youth, families, and communities. She also works with the leadership of VPOST to support regional OST coalitions and Youth Ambassador Chapters while developing new partnerships across Virginia. Blaire conducts outreach to diverse audiences in support of the network’s priorities and initiatives, including legislatively directed campaigns. During Blaire’s spare time, she enjoys travel, sports, trivia, music, gourmet cuisine, fine wines, and plans to visit every National Park in the U.S during her travel adventures.
