Executive Director
Blaire Denson has over twenty-five years of experience in the OST field. She began as a Site Coordinator within her local school division, then went on to direct Federal Programs, serve as a 21st Century Community Learning Center Program Monitor for the Virginia Department of Education, and has served as Executive Director of VPOST since 2011. Blaire is working to build the network’s sustainability and increase investments in Virginia to support youth, families, and communities. She also works with VPOST leadership to support regional OST coalitions and Youth Ambassador Chapters while developing new partnerships across Virginia. Blaire conducts outreach to diverse audiences in support of the network’s priorities and initiatives, including legislatively directed campaigns. In her spare time, Blaire enjoys travel, sports, trivia, music, gourmet cuisine, and fine wines, and visiting state and national parks during her travel adventures.
