Manager of Youth Education
Dr. Vaughn Whitney Garland is a Richmond-based educator, community builder, and artist working with youth education, program development, community conversations and place-making. He is the Manager of Youth Education with the Mary and Frances Youth Center, a project of Virginia Commonwealth University’s Division of Community Engagement. Garland received a Ph.D. and an M.F.A from Virginia Commonwealth and has held positions in many of Richmond ‘s non-profit arts and cultural organizations.
