VPOST is excited to officially open our recruitment for our second cohort of STEM Youth Ambassadors! Virginia youth ages 13-18 are encouraged to apply to represent teens across the Commonwealth who love participating in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) activities during afterschool.
Youth Entrepreneurship in Virginia has been a focus over the past few years due to the changing workplace landscape. In order to better prepare students for that future, they will need skills related to Youth Entrepreneurship: Critical Thinking, Flexibility, Adaptability, Communication, Collaboration, Comfort with Risk, Initiative, and more!
VPOST has developed a guide that aims to simplify and provide complementing resources to the Standards for Virginia Child Day Programs. This guide gives an overview of enrolling and participating in the program. We have curated the information most applicable to school-aged, out-of-school time programs.
