In Virginia, for every 1 child in out-of-school time (OST) programs, there are 4 waiting to get in. VPOST is working every day to produce, evolve, and expand access to programs across the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Establishing these coalitions allows regional leaders to connect and share their programs’ victories, challenges, and unique needs in order to promote success in their respective communities. As a friend of the field, VPOST is dedicated to building a network of OST providers to improve quality, promote leadership, and ensure access to programs across Virginia.
VPOST is currently partnered with the following regions:
- Shenandoah Valley
- Central Virginia
- Northern Virginia
Our goal is to see the birth of coalitions across the entirety of Virginia; allowing for children of every region to have access to OST programs.
