In Virginia, eighty percent (80%) of our youth are missing out on attending an afterschool program: 745,000 versus 145,486 enrolled in programming! Four of five Virginia children are missing out. VPOST is working every day to expand access to programs across the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Establishing and supporting regional coalitions allows leaders to connect and share their programs’ victories, challenges, and unique needs in order to promote success in their respective communities. As a friend of the field, VPOST is dedicated to building a network of OST providers to improve quality, promote leadership, and ensure access to programs across Virginia.
VPOST is currently partnered with the following coalitions:

- Charlottesville Area Network Dedicated to Youth Development (CANDYD)
- Fairfax Out-of-School Time Network
