Reach out in Support of Federal Afterschool and Summer Funding

On June 9th, the House Appropriations Committee approved the Fiscal Year 2027 Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act by a partisan vote of 34 to 28. The bill maintains 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) program funding at $1.329 billion, the same level as last year, and rejects the Administration’s proposal to eliminate dedicated federal afterschool and summer funding.
