Youth Ambassador Coordinator
Michelle Simpson has been a passionate advocate for youth development for over 25 years. After majoring in Elementary Education at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC), Michelle owned and operated the Inspiring Minds Youth Development Center. She’s served as a Community District commissioner for the City of Hampton, representing non-profit youth programs, National Afterschool Alliance Ambassador for the state of Virginia 2021-2022, and Vice chair of the Stonehouse community youth activities programs. Currently a Youth Development Specialist and Coordinator for the Alternative Inc. World Changers Youth Leadership Team, she endeavors to empower youth to advocate for change and to unapologetically live up to their greatest potential.
